Holiday Let Register Update

Further to our article in January 2026, the Government has confirmed that the national Holiday Let Registration Scheme will proceed, with implementation now expected in October 2026. Owners will be required to provide core personal details, key property information, and a registration fee. Safety certification evidence is anticipated at a later stage.

Owner Requirements

The initial phase focuses on essential data, including ownership details and annual letting days. While safety documents will not be required at launch, further compliance measures are expected as the scheme develops.

Our Support

As part of our Property Management service, we will manage the registration process on our behalf of our owners using the information we already hold. Once the official opening date is confirmed, we will provide further guidance on next steps.
