The Pebbles team is a caring and vibrant community working across South Devon and East Cornwall, caring for the area’s most exceptional private and letting holiday homes.

Our team is constantly growing, and as a result we often have roles available to join us as Property Checkers, Housekeepers and Cleaners, recruiting from across the South Hams and South Devon including Kingsbridge, Bigbury, Dartmouth, Noss Mayo, Caw Sands, Salcombe and beyond.

As an industry with lots of seasonal variation, we also often have temporary roles available, such as cleaning positions in the summer months, which are great for students in particular. 

We offer flexibility wherever we can, and training is provided. In many cases we can often even offer transport as well!

Housekeeper

Opportunity to join Pebbles’ reputable, welcoming team (16 to 33 hrs per week; year-round) providing the luxury holiday homes properties in the South Hams.

Competitive package for the right candidate: salary, pension, paid travel, holiday, flexi-working, bonuses and Pebbles Perks.

The ideal candidate lives in the areas of Ivybridge, Plympton, Modbury or Kingsbridge.

QUALITY MANAGER (HOUSEKEEPING)

Permanent - 5 days Monday to Saturday (Tuesday & Sunday off)

Salary £22,000 Company Car (or contribution)

An opportunity has arisen for a reliable, conscientious individual, with good people management skills and an eye for detail, to work with our team of ace Housekeepers (and their lovely Cleaners) in Pebbles' endeavours to achieve 100% perfect Housekeeping, 100% of the time!

YOUR NEW ROLE

Working closely with the Head of Property Operations, you will spend much of your time at the various luxury properties on the company’s portfolio, to ensure our clients and their private or paying guests are met with exceptional accommodation. Your primary focus will be ensuring excellent standards are maintained by managing, coaching and training a team of Housekeeping employees , along with the implementation of Health & Safety procedures to ensure Housekeeping employees are following safe working practices.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

A self-starter, you will have a real ‘can do’ attitude with the ability to think on your feet and motivate those around you. You will have excellent organisational skills as well as being attentive to the finer details. The ability to communicate with people at all levels while maintaining a professional demeanour, you will be presentable and approachable.Previous supervisory level leadership and management experience is required as is knowledge of recruitment. The ability to ensure employees are well-informed and motivated through coaching, mentoring and ongoing training and development is vital to the role. A proven track record with resource planning, you will have the ability to multi-task within a busy, demanding and fulfilling role.Conscientiously, you will pursue high standards in your work, for Pebbles’ clients, their guests and your colleagues.
