A Quiet Sunday Callout

A Rainy‑Day Callout: Showing Up When Needed

Sometimes the quiet moments during an on‑call weekend can turn into an opportunity to help someone out of an unexpected situation. Here's what happened one Sunday morning in January when the owners were locked out of their property and we were called to help.

Understanding the Problem

We received word that the owners had found themselves locked out. They had their keys, but a latch had dropped on the inside of the door, leaving them unable to get in.

A Quick Response

The solution was to use an alternative entrance. The next steps then became simple: fetch the master key set and get over to the property as quickly as possible.

Getting the Job Done

After a quick dash to the office and then over to the property, we gained access successfully through a side entrance. A straightforward fix - but a huge relief for the owners, who had been standing outside in the pouring rain.

A Small Moment That Matters

Helping owners and guests during unexpected hiccups is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. It reinforces the impact of being present, being steady, and being ready to help - even on a stormy Sunday morning.
