Professional training for safe holiday home cleaning and housekeeping

Pebbles School provides training programmes for housekeepers and cleaners of holiday homes whether working alone, in a micro business of two to five people, as part of a small business, or within a more established property management and/or property services company with a large team. 

Our training allows individuals and organisations to operate safe best practice as well as quality control, prioritising the safety and wellbeing of our employees, contractors, clients and their guests, and the communities in which we all work. Programmes are designed to minimise risk for housekeepers, cleaners and property management staff whilst doing their jobs in the wake of Covid-19, it includes programmes designed by our own in-house Quality Manager and Head of Property Operations.

In particular, it includes our Safeguarding Programme 2020, which was developed in response to the Covid-19 health crisis, and was designed to reduce the health risk and support the physical and mental wellbeing of all in these groups, also to give people confidence in their work, guests confidence in their holiday accommodation, also owners and the community confidence in the cleaning business. It includes the updated protocols necessary to help keep our team safe, reassure our clients and their guests (where properties are used as holiday lets), protect our local community and fall in line with updated health and safety legislation and recommendations. The online training programme we have presented is the same one that we provide to our own team, and that has had nothing but positive feedback from our clients. 

The lessons outlined provide individuals with access to formalised protocols that ensure your own safety as well as that of your clients, culminating in a certificate of completion and use of our Safeguarding Programme badge to place on your website and marketing materials.

Currently the training we offer is for housekeepers and cleaners but courses for other core company services, including gardening and maintenance services, are just around the corner.
