At Pebbles of Salcombe, we aim to provide you as occupier of a Pebbles property with information on home and holiday services and activities available in Salcombe and the immediate surrounding area, and arrange these services and activities for you.
We do not endeavour to sell these services and activities direct to you, it is our belief that this is best done by the people who operate these services and activities.
Liabilities
Because of the service we provide and how we provide it, it is important for you to understand the limitations of our liability, so we have detailed these below and by reading these and using the site you are agreeing to these limitations in full and you also are agreeing to accept the application of English law to govern matters between Pebbles of Salcombe and yourself.
We do not act as an agent for service and activities operators or accommodation owners in the sense that we do not take your money on their behalf. While we will endeavour to arrange your booking with service and activities operators, that booking will be with the operators and them only and they are fully liable for every aspect of the service or activity that you buy, according to their own terms and conditions. So we urge you to check these in full.
Warning! Any activity has inherent risks. In reading this disclaimer and using this website you agree that Pebbles of Salcombe may not be held liable in any way for any occurrence in connection with any of the services or activities which may result in injury, death, or damages to you or your family. In consideration of being allowed to undertake these activities, you hereby personally assume all risks in connection with the activities, for any harm, damage, injury or death which may occur while you are participating in the program, including without limitation, all risks connected herewith, whether foreseen or unforeseen.
You recognize the inherent risk involved in these services and activities and understand that these risks cannot be eliminated without destroying the unique character of the activity. You accept these risks as your own and it is through this instrument you exempt and release Pebbles of Salcombe and its staff from all liabilities.
You further state that the information that you may provide to service operators with regards to your medical history and swimming ability is accurate to the best of your knowledge, that you are physically fit, not under the influence of alcohol or drugs at time of utilising the service or activity nor will you be at any time during the activities.
Participants and spectators in any of the services or activities arranged by Pebbles of Salcombe are presumed to be aware of and accept the inherent risks, and be responsible for their own involvement. Pebbles of Salcombe and its contributors can not be responsible for the consequences of your participation in such activities.
Service Agreement between Pebbles of Salcombe Ltd and you.
1. Acceptance of our estimate is made on the understanding that these Terms & Conditions have been read in full and that all the details within have been found acceptable to you, the Client.
2. All prices exclude VAT unless otherwise stated (VAT registration no. 873841102).
3. Work carried out on Sundays and Bank Holidays is charged at time and a half (exc. Good Friday)
4. All work is invoiced monthly (by email or post to preference). Payment should be made within 21 days of receipt of this to avoid a late fee of the greater of £20/mth or 5%, which is incurred monthly on account thereafter.
5. Cancellation of any service within 24hrs is subject to the cost of that service in full at Pebbles’ discretion.
6. Should the Client or associated company of the Client engage or re-engage directly a member of Pebbles’ staff or a Pebbles’ contractor, within the period of 6 calendar months from termination of any agreement between the client and Pebbles, a fee becomes payable equal to 12% of the remuneration applicable during the first 6 months of employment.

Pebbles of Salcombe is not liable for any injury and/or damage to persons or property caused by any actual or alleged libellous statements, infringements of intellectual property or privacy rights, or product liability, whether resulting from negligence or otherwise, including without limitation, from any use or operation of any ideas, instructions, procedures, products or methods contained in the material published on the site.
Recommendations
All recommendations by Pebbles of Salcombe regarding services, activities, properties and/or locations are intended for the purpose of information and guidance only. Whilst we may recommend some services, activities, properties or locations for a specific purpose e.g. children friendly setting, none of the services, activities, properties or locations is guaranteed as fully suitable for that purpose e.g. fully children friendly, by Pebbles of Salcombe.
