In May 2004, Deborah and James established Pebbles with two objectives in mind:

to make life easier for the property owner by providing a single point of call for the complete range of property services, focusing on value-for-money, efficient communication and reliable organisation;
to keep business local by channelling the demand for services in to the local community – from cleaning to wireless broadband set-up, rather than seeing it met by professionals from other parts of the country.

We now keyhold and attend to the needs of more than 250 properties in the South Hams including:

Holiday homes let by owners
Second homes used only by the owners, family and friends
Residences
Property complexes

In servicing the properties, we liaise with home owners and second home owners in the UK and abroad (references available), along with local, regional and national letting agents and estate agents (click agent name to link through to their website):

In August 2007, we found that many visitors to the properties we support were finding it difficult to access the services and activities they needed to enjoy their holiday e.g. childminding, so we launched Pebbles Concierge and Pebbles Concierge PLUS.

Pebbles Concierge is a free arrangement service for all visitors to properties registered for Pebbles Concierge. Now with a single phone call or email, visitors to a Pebbles Concierge property can have a range of services and activities arranged for them, and at discount prices (5% - 10%).

Pebbles Concierge PLUS offers all the benefits of Pebbles Concierge but also comes with free use of the excellent gym, pool and leisure facilities at Tides Reach Hotel, South Sands Salcombe (over 8s only).

So whether you’re a home owner in or a visitor to the South Hams, we aim to take care of the chores and concerns for you, so you can just relax and enjoy all that exists in our beautiful and much-loved region.
